A 1965 Gibson Donovan J-45 has arrived.
When strummed, it offers a pleasant accompaniment that beautifully complements vocals, producing a rich, evocative sound reminiscent of British folk music. When fingerpicked, the notes are well-defined, allowing you to enjoy a warm, rustic tone.
As for its condition, there are scattered scratches and dents from use throughout the body, along with some tarnish on the metal parts and signs of aging on the finish. Additionally, it appears that one screw on the truss rod cover has been replaced; since it is the wrong length, the truss rod cover is slightly loose. Overall, the guitar shows signs of use.
