USED Fender Japan / Jazz Bass JB75-90US US Lake Placid Blue [12]

A Jazz Bass in a custom color ordered by a former distributor has arrived.
Based on the JB75-90US—which reproduces mid-’75 specifications and features USA-made pickups—this model was custom-ordered as a limited-edition color by Kanda Shokai, which served as the Japanese distributor until the spring of 2015.

It features an ash body, a maple neck, a maple fingerboard with binding, and pearloid block position marks. A key feature is the three-point neck joint with a built-in Micro-Tilt system.

Compared to 1960s Jazz Basses, its sound has a stronger attack and more punch, making it well-suited for slap playing.
It is equipped with two USA Vintage Jazz Bass pickups, delivering a rich, full-bodied sound with excellent projection.
There is significant paint peeling on the elbow contour, and there are paint cracks at the neck joint.
Overall, there are scattered fine scratches and dents of varying sizes, and the hardware shows some tarnish.
Although the truss rod is almost fully tightened, the neck is currently in good condition and does not interfere with playability.
Although it shows signs of use, it has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent.
