USED Fernandes / RS-1800 RESONA Natural [12]

The Fernandes RS-1800 RESONA has arrived!
A rare model released in 1999 to commemorate Fernandes’ 30th anniversary.

A resin panel is attached to the back of the body, creating a structure similar to a semi-hollow guitar.
The body has been deeply hollowed out, producing a resonant tone with an airy quality similar to that of a semi-hollow guitar.

At first glance, it appears to have a single humbucker pickup, but a piezo pickup is built into the saddle.
The controls on the top of the body consist of a magnet volume knob, a piezo volume knob, and a magnet tone knob, while a piezo EQ knob is located behind the bridge, allowing for a wide range of sound shaping by blending the magnet and piezo signals.

The body is crafted from a single piece of Honduran mahogany.
Despite its small size, the body produces a sound that truly conveys the warmth of the wood.
Only the tuners for the 6th string have been replaced. They are Gotoh locking tuners with the same H.A.P. function as the originals, but ones with smaller post holes for plain strings have been installed.
A tension bar was installed, and there are traces where the screw holes were subsequently filled.
While there are minor scratches and dents overall, and the hardware shows some signs of wear, the instrument has minimal signs of use and is in good condition.
It has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent.
