USED Fender / Char Mustang Olympic White [12]

We've received a used Char Signature Model Olympic White Mustang!
The design concept behind this model was “a Mustang equipped with the functionality of a Stratocaster.”
A new synchronized tremolo bridge was developed to match the Mustang’s body thickness, which is thinner than that of a Stratocaster.
While retaining the Mustang’s signature playability and maneuverability, this design now allows for Stratocaster-style whammy bar use.
Additionally, at Char’s request, the back panel of the body was intentionally omitted to create a simple, clean look.
Furthermore, a 3-position toggle switch was adopted to enable more intuitive pickup control. To allow for volume control similar to that of a Stratocaster, the position of the control knobs was moved closer to the strings, and the pickguard features an original shape exclusive to the CHAR MUSTANG—one not found on conventional MUSTANG models.
Regarding the sound of this updated CHAR MUSTANG, which has undergone various improvements, Char himself has praised the clear tone in the lower register—particularly on the 5th and 6th strings—noting that “it resonates much better now.”
While there are some minor scratches and dents overall, the guitar shows minimal signs of use and is in good condition.
It has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent.
