A model crafted at the former Gibson factory in Kalamazoo that carries on the legacy of the “good old days.”
Following the closure of the Gibson Kalamazoo factory in 1985, the artisans who worked there at the time founded the “Heritage” brand.

This is the H-150 from the Custom Shop Core Collection, supervised by Edwin Wilson, who previously demonstrated his expertise as the Historic Program Manager at the former Gibson Custom Shop. While this model falls into the so-called LP-style category, it features unique design elements in the headstock shape, truss rod cover, cutaway shape, and pickguard.

The plain maple top features the “Artisan Aged” finish, which is hand-aged by artisans to give the guitar a well-worn, familiar appearance.

The neck shape offers a secure grip and is easy to hold; even when played unamplified, you can feel its rich, natural resonance, and the original Heritage Custom Shop 225 Classic Humbuckers deliver a sound that is faithful to the instrument’s natural tone.

Please consider this supreme masterpiece, created under the supervision of Mr. Wilson—who has made significant contributions to and left a lasting legacy in Gibson’s Historic Series—in collaboration with a brand that carries on Gibson’s tradition and heritage.
Aside from the aged finish, there are virtually no signs of wear.
The frets have more than 70% of their original depth remaining, the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
