This model recreates the specifications of the 1958 Les Paul, the year the sunburst finish was introduced.
Compared to the 1959 model, often considered the pinnacle of Les Pauls, this model features a rounder, fatter "Round C" neck profile. Some guitarists deliberately choose the 1958 specification in search of a robust low-to-midrange tone.
The maple top of this guitar features a striking plain finish.
Equipped with two "Custombucker Alnico III (Unpotted)" pickups (not potted), Luxe Bumblebee capacitors, and pots featuring a vintage curve, this guitar faithfully reproduces every detail of a vintage Les Paul, conveying the extraordinary passion of the Gibson Custom Shop.

There are small dents with indentations on the upper part of the bridge pickup and the lower part of the body back, and the parts show some discoloration and fine rust.
There are also minor scratches and small dents.
