USED YAMAHA / LB-I JJ Mod Black [20]

This is the Yamaha LB Series LB-I active 4-string bass, manufactured from 1986 to 1989.
This is the LB Series JJ model from the “Motion” line, which took the world by storm when it was first released.
It features a lacquer finish, a round body with a maple top and alder back, a V-shaped headstock, a 5-piece maple and mahogany through-neck construction, an ebony fingerboard, a brass nut, and a die-cast Hyper Bridge. The pickups have been replaced with Bartolini models, and it is equipped with volume, balance, and 2-band EQ controls.
A passive/active switch and a battery compartment have been added.

There is a crack in the fingerboard from the 1st to the 4th fret.
The strap pins and control knobs have been replaced, and the parts show signs of tarnish and rust.
There is stand burn on the neck from the 10th to 13th frets and on the very bottom of the body, where the finish is chipped or has deteriorated as if it had melted.
There are multiple areas of paint chipping next to the nut, on the headstock corners, the body sides, and the lower part of the body back; there are also areas of paint chipping and signs of paint reaction on the corners of the horn section.
There are numerous buckle scratches, as well as numerous scuffs, dents, and impact marks accompanied by paint cracking throughout the instrument, giving it a heavily used appearance.

Condition Grade: B: Shows significant scratches and signs of use, but is suitable for normal use.
