Newly developed scalloped bracing produces a warm and powerful sound with deep bass and rich overtones.
Solid Sitka spruce surface with A.R.E. gives the guitar a matured sound as if it has been played for many years.
Fingerboard, bridge, and bridge pins are made of ebony.
Made in Japan model by highly skilled craftsmen.

＜Yamaha's traditional V-shape head.
The original Yamaha FG head shape is decorated with a tuning fork logo. The truss rod cover is engraved with "Since 1966", which indicates the origin of Yamaha guitars.

<Solid Sitka spruce is used for the front board.

<Cow bone upper and lower bridge pieces
The upper and lower bridge pieces are made of cow bone (#5 grade only). The bone is extremely hard and allows for more effective transmission of sound from the strings to the neck and body. High skill is required to install and adjust the ox bone nut, and each guitar is carefully crafted by skilled guitar craftsmen in Japan.
