Explore the Possibilities

The PRS SE Studio offers three powerful pickups in a sleek design, covering a wide variety of classic and modern sounds.
The MH (mini-ham)-MH-H pickup configuration is used, and the mahogany body and maple top give this model a deep and resonant sound.
The combination of a PRS Narrowfield DD "S" mini humbucker in the bass and middle positions and a PRS 58/15 LT "S" full-size humbucker in the treble position gives this model a deep resonance. The combination of the full-size humbuckers allows for a wide range of sound making from the fat and warm sound of humbuckers to the sparkling and articulate sound of single coils.
A 5-way blade switch and a push/pull tone control expand the range of options to create a variety of sounds for every musical genre and style of playing.
The 22-fret, 25" scale, wide-thin maple neck offers high playability, and the iconic PRS bird inlays add a touch of elegance to the rosewood fingerboard.
The original PRS-designed tuners and tremolo bridge provide both stable tuning and expressive playing. From practicing at home to recording in the studio to performing on stage, the PRS SE Studio is a model that can be used in any playing environment and can be used to its fullest potential.

What is PRS SE?

Carlos Santana, who has been using PRS guitars as his main instrument since around 1982, proposed the idea of creating a guitar with the high quality of PRS guitars at a low price that students could afford, and the development of the guitar began. The first SE model, the "Santana SE," was released in 2001. The SE series is therefore abbreviated as "Student Edition" and "Santana Edition.

The SE series is not just a low-priced version, but a highly refined guitar that can be used by professionals in the field. The SE Series, now in production in Indonesia, offers even better quality than the Korean-made SE Series that preceded it, and has now led to the emergence of SE Series collectors.

Although there are differences in wood quality, paint, and parts from the USA-made PRS, engineers from the PRS headquarters are frequently dispatched to provide direct guidance, resulting in production lines that follow the same manufacturing process as the USA factory. The wood and parts prepared and developed exclusively for the PRS SE series are optimized with the question of "how to establish the best sound quality while keeping the price low" in mind. As a result, the specifications have changed and improved over the years. This is the "ism" of guitar craftsman Paul Reed-Smith, and this is the essence and charm of PRS guitars, just like those made in the USA.
