Featuring a headstock shape, fingerboard inlays, tailpiece, control knobs, and body color inspired by the classic designs Pat favors, this model pays meticulous attention to its aesthetic appeal.

~Features~
Spruce Top / Maple Back & Sides Body
The top is crafted from spruce—a wood also used in violins and acoustic guitars—which excels at transmitting vibrations and is known for its natural, neutral tone.
Maple, known for its crisp, clear tone, is used for the back and sides.
Additionally, the instrument features an extremely thin, open-pore finish with no intermediate coats, giving it a vintage-like appearance.

3-Piece Nyatoh/Maple Neck
This guitar features a 3-piece neck combining Nyatoh and maple, which is characterized by rich mid-low frequencies and resonance.

Ebony Fingerboard
We’ve selected ebony for its quick attack and rich sustain.

Medium Frets with Artstar Fret Edge Treatment
The fret edges are spherically shaped to reduce stress during fingering, delivering a superior playing experience.

Cowbone Nut
We’ve adopted a cowbone nut—a staple in hollow-body guitars—which produces a natural tone with minimal coloration.

Gibraltar Performer Bridge
This zinc bridge features a design where the front-to-back adjustment screws for the saddles are located on the tailpiece side.
The design allows a screwdriver to be inserted from the tailpiece side, making it easier to adjust the saddle position front-to-back.

PM Special Single-Coil Pickup
This Ibanez pickup was developed through extensive discussions with Mr. Pat over a long period of time and numerous prototypes, fully reflecting his preferences.
The bass is not boomy, making it easy to convey picking nuances, and it features the crisp, bright tone characteristic of a single-coil pickup.
You can also sense Mr. Pat’s attention to detail in the classic mounting style, where the pickup body is placed on a large metal plate, which is then suspended from the body using three screws.

* Note Regarding Appearance
Due to the extremely thin, open-pore finish—applied without a mid-coat—there may be slight irregularities in the wood and binding areas.
These characteristics meet the quality standards approved by both Ibanez and the artist himself.
