This is the signature value model from John Scofield, who stands at the forefront of the jazz world as a guitarist and composer.
It is a semi-hollow body guitar based on the Ibanez “AS200.”

It features JSM’s trademark small headstock, a semi-hollow body with flame maple on the top, sides, and back, a 3-piece maple/mahogany neck, an ebony fingerboard, and Ibanez’s classic Super ’58 pickups with Alnico magnets.
It features a Tri-Sound switch that allows you to toggle between series (in-line), tap, and parallel (parallel) configurations for the neck pickup.

Super 58 Pickups
This model is equipped with Super '58 pickups, which have earned a solid reputation among professionals as Ibanez’s original pickups since the late 1970s.
These classic pickups are known for their warm tone and excellent responsiveness. They feature Alnico magnets.

Tri-Sound Switch
It features a Tri-Sound switch that allows you to toggle the neck pickup between series, tap, and parallel modes.

Ebony Fretboard with Artstar Fret Edge Treatment
The fretboard is made of ebony, which is known for its quick attack and rich sustain.

Gibraltar Artist Bridge
This bridge features a design in which the front-to-back adjustment screws for the saddles are located on the tailpiece side.
