Ibanez Semi-Hollow Bass SRH500F & SRH505F
Ibanez Bass Work Shop, a series that "creates exciting new basses never seen before based on a solid concept," introduces the "SRH500F" and "SRH505F," two new chamber-bodied semi-hollow basses. The "Ibanez Bass Work Shop" series, which produces exciting new basses never before seen based on a precise concept, now introduces the "SRH500F" and "SRH505F.
The semi-hollow construction with a boldly hollowed-out mahogany chamber body and spruce top, and Ibanez's original "AeroSilk piezo pickup" produce a tone similar to that of a wood bass. The "AeroSilk piezo pickup", an Ibanez original, produces a wood bass tone.
Of course, there is no compromise in the pursuit of playability, which is the foundation of the SR. The fretless "SRH500F" and "SRH505F" are semi-hollow basses with outstanding playability.

Semi-Hollow Body
The 55mm-thick semi-hollow body is made of chambered mahogany and spruce for rich resonance.
Contoured deep neck joint
Contoured deep neck joint allows for easy access to the high position.
WIDE ELBOW CUT
The wide elbow cut is designed to accommodate a variety of playing styles, and is not only for playability, but also for design.
Aero Silk piezo pickup
Ibanez's original piezo system produces a warm, acoustic piezo sound that is similar to that of a wood bass. In order to eliminate output balance variations, an output adjustment trim is provided for each string on the back of the bridge.

マホガニー材を大胆にくり抜いたチェンバー・ボディにスプルース材をトップに貼りあわせたセミホロウ構造と Ibanezオリジナルの”AeroSilk piezo pickup”がまるでウッドベースのようなトーンを生み出します。
もちろん、SRの根幹であるプレイアビリティの追求にも妥協はありません。セミホロウでありながら抜群の演奏性を備えるベース、それがフレットレス仕様の”SRH500F”と”SRH505F”です。
