ヴィンテージ・ギターのサウンドにインスパイアされて開発&設計が始まったS2 McCarty 594は、ヴィンテージ特有のハムバッカーとシングルコイルのサウンドをモダンなプレイヤビリティと融合させたモデルです。そして本モデルでは、バインディングが施された22フレット&パターン・ヴィンテージ・ネック・シェイプを採用した少し肉厚なネックがロング・サステインを生み出し、快適なプレイヤビリティを実現しています。
また、ブラス製サドルとスチール・スタッドを使用した2ピース・ブリッジ、ボーン・ナット、そして無加工のブラス製シャフトを使用したPRS Phase IIIチューナーは、このS2 McCarty 594の根幹となる仕様となり、1950年代後半に製造されたハムバッカー特有のウォームかつオーガニックなサウンドを生み出すUSA製 58/15 LTピックアップと組み合わさることで、秀逸なヴィンテージ・サウンドを生み出します。
さらに、独立した2ヴォリューム&プッシュ/プル・トーンのコントロール・レイアウトを採用することにより、芳醇な中音域をもつハムバッカー・サウンドから透明感と繊細さ兼ね備えたヴィンテージ・シングルコイル・サウンドへのシームレスな切り替えを可能にしました。
COREモデルのMcCartyシリーズに宿るDNAと、S2シリーズのコンセプトを継承したS2 McCarty 594は、必ずしやあたなたの頼れる1本となるでしょう。

A used 2025 "S2 McCarty 594 Custom Color" has arrived!

Inspired by the sound of vintage guitars, the S2 McCarty 594 was developed and designed to fuse the distinctive vintage humbucker and single-coil tones with modern playability. This model features a slightly thicker neck with 22 frets and a vintage-pattern neck shape, accented with binding, which produces long sustain and ensures comfortable playability.
Additionally, a two-piece bridge with brass saddles and steel studs,a bone nut, and PRS Phase III tuners with unmachined brass shafts form the core specifications of this S2 McCarty 594. Combined with USA-made 58/15 LT pickups—which produce the warm, organic sound characteristic of humbuckers manufactured in the late 1950s—they create an exceptional vintage tone.
Furthermore, the independent two-volume and push/pull tone control layout allows for a seamless transition from the rich midrange of the humbucker sound to the clarity and delicacy of a vintage single-coil sound.
Inheriting the DNA of the CORE model McCarty series and the concept of the S2 series, the S2 McCarty 594 is sure to become your go-to guitar.
