“The DGT Semi-Hollow Limited Edition is based on a guitar we specially commissioned from PRS several years ago. For this limited edition, we’ve incorporated moon inlays and a McCarty Sunburst finish.By adopting a semi-hollow design for this model, the high end has gained a warmer tone compared to previous solid-body models, while the low end has a slightly cleaner sound. The result is a model that offers a unique appeal distinct from previous DGTs and is versatile enough to excel in a wide range of musical situations.” – David Grissom

Based on a guitar personally owned by David Grissom, this limited edition retains the core specifications of the PRS DGT—such as the neck shape, pickups, and dual-volume control layout—while incorporating a semi-hollow body construction to produce a richer body resonance and a more dynamic sound.

The original DGT was developed based on the McCarty and was born out of a collaboration between Paul Reed Smith and David Grissom that spanned more than a decade. This limited edition, produced in a run of just 200 guitars worldwide, features a McCarty Sunburst finish and moon inlays, further enhancing the distinctive sound and charm of vintage guitars that lie at the heart of the DGT series.Additionally, the headstock features Paul Reed Smith’s handwritten signature.

It is in excellent condition with minimal signs of use. All playability-related components—including the neck, frets, and truss rod—are in perfect working order.
