New Standard of Made In JAPAN RG, born in the Ibanez "J LINE" series
Ultra-thin "SuperWizard" shape neck for ease of playability and thinness.
5pcs construction with 3-piece maple and 2-piece walnut laminate for rigidity.
This shape is ideal for players who prefer the lightest possible grip and is the reason why Ibanez pioneered the thin neck.

-Ibanez original V7, S1, and V8 pickups
The V7/V8 pickups were widely used in the late 90's when loud music was at its peak.
The front pickups (V7) are designed for powerful midrange and high frequency dropout, and the rear pickups (V8) are designed for low-frequency power.
The single pickup is the S1, which was designed to be used in combination with the V7/V8.

-Rosewood fingerboard
The fingerboard is made of rosewood, one of the most popular fingerboard woods, which has good midrange and low end characteristics.

-Luminlay fingerboard side position marks
Luminlay is a high-performance luminescent material that is useful on dark stages and is rapidly gaining popularity around the world in recent years.

-Independent Monorail bridge for each string
The independent structure of each string transmits the string vibration directly to the body, resulting in a straight sounding body and rich overtones.
The bridge has a wide range of saddle adjustment and can be flexibly adjusted for down-tuning.

-Gotoh MGT locking machine head
The MGT locking machine head by Gotoh, which is known for its tuning stability, has been adopted for the convenience of string changes.
By turning the dial with your finger, you can easily lock the strings through the post holes.

ラウド・ミュージック全盛となった90年代後半に多く採用されたV7/V8ピックアップを採用しています。
パワフルな中域、高域の抜けに配慮したフロント(V7)、低域のパワーに配慮したリア(V8)が特徴です。
シングル・ピックアップはV7/V8との組み合わせを前提に設計されたS1を搭載しています。

中低域の立ち上りがよく、指板材として最もポピュラーな木材の一つである、ローズウッド材を採用しています。
