The body features African mahogany, renowned for its rich, resonant mid-to-low frequencies, while the top is crafted from AAA flamed maple (4mm) with a beautifully selected, prominent grain pattern.
The neck features the ultra-thin “RG j.custom Super Wizard” profile, constructed from a 5-piece maple and wenge structure that balances rigidity with natural resonance.The back of the neck is finished with a “Velvetouch” finish that boasts a velvety-smooth feel, as if the guitar had been played for many years. The Makassar ebony fingerboard—known for its hardness and excellent attack—features the beautiful “Tree of Life” inlay, a symbol of j.custom.The “j.custom fret edge treatment”—in which skilled craftsmen manually round the fret edges to a perfect sphere—combined with Luminlay (phosphorescent) side dots that ensure visibility on dark stages, delivers unparalleled comfort and completely eliminates stress when shifting positions.

The pickups feature direct-mounted, classic DiMarzio HSH units. Equipped with the “Air Norton” (neck) for warm, clear sustain; the “True Velvet” (middle) for a bright, cutting tone; and “The Tone Zone” (bridge) for overwhelming sound pressure and dynamics, this guitar covers everything from fat leads to delicate clean tones and crisp cutting riffs.

The hardware features the legendary “Lo-Pro Edge” double-locking tremolo, designed with a low-profile profile that doesn’t interfere with your picking.
