The j.custom is Ibanez's top-of-the-line electric guitar, manufactured in the company's workshop in Japan to meet the diverse styles, tastes, and demands of guitarists at a high level.

"RG j.custom Super Wizard AS" asymmetrical neck shape 5pc maple/wenge wood neck
The neck is a 5pc combination of maple and wenge wood, which is designed for natural sound with full consideration for strength. Asymmetrical neck shape based on the ultra-thin SuperWizard shape, which was designed for ease of playability and thinness.

Nut section: 17mm / 12 frets
The 19mm neck thickness is retained, but the shape is rounded toward the bass string side (6th string side) to provide a more secure fulcrum for the thumb and to enhance playability for technical techniques such as wide left hand stretches and sweep techniques. The neck and back have a "Velvetouch" finish that feels as comfortable in the hand as a guitar that has been played for years.

Macassar Ebony fingerboard
The Makassar Ebony fingerboard is characterized by its hardness, excellent responsiveness, and vertical stripes, and the "Tree Of Life" position inlay, one of the symbols of j.custom design, is a special feature of this fingerboard.

Flamed maple (4?) top and alder body
Alder wood, characterized by its well-balanced bright tone characteristics and rich sustain, is laminated with AAA grade flame maple wood.

Deep and beveled lower horn scoop body back
Deeply scooped cutaway on the treble string side (1st string side) of the body back enhances playability in the high position.

DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary / True Velvet / The Tone Zone pickups
For a natural tone, the PAF 36th Anniversary has a low-power, warm, sweet tone in the neck position, the True Velvet has a bright, noiseless sound in the middle position, and the Tone Zone pickup has a balanced output from the high to low registers in the bridge position for a powerful sound. The bridge position is equipped with The Tone Zone, a covered instrument that delivers a well-balanced and powerful sound from high to low frequencies.

Coil-tap switch
This switch functions on the front and rear humbucker pickups to expand the sanding variation.

Lo-Pro Edge tremolo bridge
The Lo-Pro Edge, an original tremolo with the ultimate low-profile design, is mounted. The unit is designed to be as low as possible and the fine tuners are placed in the rear to minimize the possibility of tuning deviation due to hand contact while playing.
