DiMarzio Air Classic humbucker pickups are made with Alnico V magnets and DiMarzio's proprietary "Airbucker Technology" to pursue the late 1950's humbucker sound, and are characterized by their clear, sustain-rich, flat sound. Humbucker pickups are mounted at the neck and bridge positions.
A single-coil pickup is mounted in the middle position for a fuller sound with a high treble.
