New RG Color Added to Japanese-Made 'J-LINE'!

The "RG" model, an iconic symbol of Ibanez. Even now, over 35 years after its debut, it continues to evolve while retaining its original form, becoming the beloved instrument of countless guitarists.
"While honoring the quintessential Ibanez character emanating from the RG, we wanted to deliver a 'new standard for the RG' to guitarists of today and tomorrow." This is the concept behind the Ibanez J-LINE series "RG6HSHFX".
Viewed head-on, its design—devoid even of position markers—may be selective about who picks it up. Yet for players who can "play it," and for those determined to "learn to play it," this very purity could become their identity.
Functionally and specification-wise, it incorporates stage-worthy details throughout, including a fixed bridge construction with a monorail bridge, locking machine heads, and phosphorescent inlays on the fingerboard sides.
Following the debut BKF (Black Flat) color model, we are adding the KMF (Khaki Metallic Flat) color model, which has a subdued appearance.
An ultra-thin "Super Wizard" shape neck designed for playability and thinness
Its 5-piece construction, laminating 3-piece maple and 2-piece walnut, enhances rigidity.
This shape epitomizes Ibanez's pioneering legacy in thin necks, perfect for players who prefer an extremely light feel.
Rosewood fingerboard
Rosewood, one of the most popular woods for fingerboards, is used for its excellent mid-low frequency response.
Black binding surrounds the fingerboard, accentuating its contours.
Luminlay fretboard side position markers
Ibanez Original V7, S1, V8 Pickups
Features the V7/V8 pickups widely adopted during the late 90s loud music era.
The front pickup (V7) emphasizes powerful mids and clear highs, while the rear pickup (V8) emphasizes low-end power.
The single-coil pickup is the S1, designed specifically to complement the V7/V8 combination.
