BB700 Series

A multi-functional model featuring precise sound shaping via a 3-band active equalizer and active/passive switching capability. Constructed with a 3-ply alder/maple/alder body. The miter-bolted neck joint creates a powerful resonance integrated with the body. Equipped with a convertible bridge type for selection according to preference.

Alder/Maple/Alder 3-Ply Body Construction

The new BB Series features an alder/maple/alder 3-ply body construction. The hard maple core sandwiched between alder sides achieves a body resonance that blends seamlessly into the band's sound. Furthermore, using maple for the body allows direct sound transmission with the maple neck, reducing sound loss between body and neck and reliably capturing string vibrations.
Miter Bolting for Secure Neck Attachment

The miter bolting method is employed, adding two screws that secure the neck end at a 45-degree angle from the body back, in addition to the four screws that fix the neck vertically from the body back. This firmly bonds the body and neck, creating a powerful resonance where the body and neck become one.
Newly Developed Pickup: YGD Custom V7

Features a newly developed proprietary pickup. Combined with the alder/maple/alder body construction, it delivers a clear, projecting sound that won't get lost in a band. Equipped on the 700 Grade and Pro Grade.
Active Circuit

The new BB 700 Grade allows switching between active and passive circuits for sound shaping with a single switch. The active circuit is tuned specifically for the new BB's crisp, defined tone. Furthermore, the treble knob on the 3-band equalizer functions as the master tone control when using the passive circuit, yet is meticulously designed to prevent any volume difference when switching.
Convertible Type Bridge & Saddle

The 700 Grade and Pro Grade feature a "String-Through-Body" construction, routing strings through the back of the body. Compared to the conventional method of routing strings vertically through the back, this 45-degree angle routing transmits string vibration energy to the body with minimal loss. The semi-circular saddle's varying contact points respond to the player's diverse expression, delivering everything from crisp, clear tones to warm, rich sounds.The Vintage Plus Bridge's brass saddle delivers deep, rich bass tones, while the steel plate produces a bright sound.

5-Piece Neck

Features a 5-piece neck composed of maple and mahogany, delivering a crisp, sharp sound. It prevents warping and twisting, keeping the neck in optimal playing condition while adding mahogany's warm sound to maple's tight tone.
