USED GIBSON / THE FIREBIRD CUSTOM NATURAL 2007 [03]

GIBSON's 2007 THE FIREBIRD is now in stock, a model made in hope of nature's rebirth after the 1988 Yellowstone wildfires.
Top is spruce, sides and back are quilted maple. Ebony fingerboard and bridge, square shoulder body.
The fingerboard inlay, hand-carved by expert craftsmen, is designed with a flame motif. Mother-of-pearl and Avalon are embedded, reflecting light softly from different angles. It has the power of a work of art.
The quilted maple on the sides and back and the grain on the back of the maple neck are the most beautiful parts of this guitar.
The sound is hard yet fat, as only maple can be, with rich overtones. The tone is bright and rich, yet crisp and balanced, and is even more appealing than the stunning hand-carved artwork.
The round shape with 25.5" scale and 1.72" nut width is very comfortable to play and has a playing feel that is worthy of its hard, rich sound.

The pickguard has been removed and is missing. There are traces of the pickguard that was originally attached.
There are some cracks in the paint due to age at the border of the logo and firebird inlay on the head, at the border of the binding, and at the grafted wood on both sides of the head. There are other signs of use such as overall scuffs and minor scratches.
The cow bone saddle has been shaved low, and the string height at the 12th fret of the 6th string is approximately 2.4mm, and the string height at the 12th fret of the 1st string is approximately 1.8mm, in excellent playable condition.
The truss rod has approximately 90 degrees of room remaining in the tightened direction.
This is a great guitar that combines high playability, good sound, and artistic beauty.
