McCarty 594 is a new product from Paul Reed Smith in 2016 with a 24.594" scale, as the name suggests. What makes it so unique is its scale. The "594" in the model name comes from this unique scale, which is 24.594" (approximately 624.69 mm), shorter than the 25" scale used on many PRS guitars and a bit shorter than the 24.5" medium scale used on the SC245 and other models. This is shorter than the 25-inch scale used on most PRS guitars and a little longer than the 24.5-inch medium scale used on the SC245 and other guitars, allowing the player to experience a unique tension and sound.

The body back is made of mahogany, which is slightly thicker than that of a custom instrument, and the neck is made of mahogany. The asymmetric curve shape is slightly thicker on the bass string side and a little less on the treble string side, giving the neck a very good grip and stable fingering.

The pickups are 58/15LT. LT" stands for Low Turns, aiming to produce a clear and warm tone by reducing the number of coil turns (number of windings), and the picking nuance is also responsive and enjoyable sound making at hand, which is the point PRS is chosen. The tone knob can also be pulled to coil-tap each pickup, making it a more versatile instrument. Please try the unprecedented sound of a new dimension.

Condition
There are some paint chips on the tip of the head and other minor scratches, dents, and dull parts. Also, the strap pin has been replaced. (We have new genuine strap pins in stock. Please feel free to ask us if you would like us to replace the strap pin.)

The neck, frets, truss rod, etc. are all in good playing condition.
The neck, frets, truss rod, etc. have all been adjusted and cleaned at our repair center upon arrival, so you can use it with no worries.
