A used Fender Custom Shop 1960s Jazz Bass "Stack Knob Relic Surf Green" has arrived in stock.

Introduced in the late 1950s as Fender’s second bass model following the Precision Bass, the Jazz Bass is now beloved by bassists around the world. This Custom Shop instrument faithfully reproduces the specifications from the early 1960s, the dawn of the Jazz Bass era.

Specs include an alder body, rosewood fingerboard, and quarter-sawn maple neck. The neck features the 60s J-Bass “U” shape, offering a substantial, thick grip that’s characteristic of vintage-style instruments. The neck is designed to fit comfortably in your hand, ensuring a pleasant playing experience even during long sessions.

It is equipped with VINT J-BASS pickups.
It features a stacked knob configuration with independent volume and tone controls for each pickup, a feature that allows it to respond naturally to the player’s nuances.

The look, combining the vibrant Surf Green color with a matching headstock, is another major attraction. Furthermore, it has been treated with a Relic finish by the Custom Shop, giving it the character of a vintage instrument that has been played for many years.

The truss rod functions properly. Regarding the exterior, because of the Relic finish, it is difficult to distinguish between natural wear and actual scratches; however, there is no damage that would interfere with playing, and the guitar is still in good playing condition.
Although the pickup guard and bridge cover are both mounted with screws, the actual parts are missing.

This is a unique instrument that combines the exceptional craftsmanship of the Custom Shop with a vintage aesthetic.
