STINGRAY, one of the three masterpieces of electric bass guitar invented by Leo Fender.
The STINGRAY was released as an electric bass for the new era, suitable for the end of the 70's. It inherits the quality of the great models that have changed the history of music, such as the Precision Bass and Jazz Bass, while incorporating Leo's own specialty, electrical technology, into the body of the instrument to obtain an overwhelming range of performance.

There is no elbow contour or back contour, and the outer circumference of the body is smooth and rounded.
The neck is a one-piece maple neck with a skunk stripe on the grip, the truss rod is adjustable from the head side, and the string guide is for the 1st and 2nd strings. In addition to the smooth finish on the back side of the nut, the painted neck grip is slightly thinner than the current model and feels more comfortable in the hand.
Although it is heavy at 4.69 kg, it has a thick core and a dependable sound with presence in all registers.

Both the neck date and pot date of this model are 1979, and the serial number is B013479. The lacquer adhesion marks on the back of the joint plate also match.
There are dents and scratches on the body and neck, paint deterioration and burns, and sticker marks on the body back.
There is a crack on the upper fretboard on the first floor due to over-tightening the truss rod, and the wood is raised. (This guitar is sold as-is and cannot be repaired.)
Truss rod: Tightened direction limit / Loosened direction has room.
Neck Condition: Slightly warped in the forward direction
Fretboard: Still good for cutting, but the frets are low.
