USED Paul Reed Smith (PRS) / Private Stock #2055 Hollowbody I Piezo Faded Fire Red [03]

Private Stock #2055 Hollowbody I, made in 2008, with a superb curly maple top, is now in stock in pre-owned condition!

This model was produced based on "Hollowbody I" with maple top and mahogany back construction.
The Hollowbody I has a luxurious hollowed out mahogany back and a block under the bridge, making it similar to the CS-336.
The body block is small and the weight is very light, but the total balance is good, giving the impression of being very easy to handle.

Curly maple with strong and clear grain is used for the top of the body material. South American mahogany is used for the body back.

Figured South American mahogany is used for the neck, giving it a unique quilt-like appearance.
Pattern" neck pattern is used. The neck pattern is thick and grippy, but it does not give the impression of being thick, making you want to hold it all the time.

The fingerboard is made of MacArthur Ebony. The fretboard is made of MacArthur Ebony, which is a type of ebony with many stripes in recent years.
Red coral is used for the inlay and neck purfling, and the red color is unified as the body color.

Two "57/08" pickups, which are inspired by the 1957 humbuckers, are installed for a vintage PRS style sound, and use alnico 2 magnets for a modern and classic sound. The tone is very easy to handle.
It is also equipped with a piezo pickup, so it can output an acoustic sound. The Agnet PU can be output in stereo, so you can use the Agnet PU in a guitar amp, and the piezo PU in a DI or an acoustic guitar amp. You can switch between magnet PU only, magnet PU + piezo PU, and piezo PU only with the mini-switch.

Condition
The guitar is in relatively clean condition with some scratches, play scuffs, and small dings. Unfortunately, the specification sheet that comes with Private Stock is missing (we have inquired about the specification to the PRS headquarters).
Of course, the neck, frets, truss rod, etc. are all in perfect playing condition.
