USED KEELEY / BD-2 Phat Tube Mod [03]

Keeley Electronics has taken the classic BD-2 effects pedal and added new ideas to it, creating a new sound while preserving the BD-2's original sound.
By modifying a few sections, it is now possible to get a truly phat drive sound.
We increased the value of the coupling capacitor to increase the bass response, increased the value of the tone capacitor to increase the low-frequency range, and added a Phat SW to control the low frequencies. The internal electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with tantalum capacitors, and all ceramic capacitors have been replaced with silver mica for a lower noise and smoother sound.
