This is a limited edition Gibson Custom Shop 20th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Standard Murphy Burst!
This is one of the limited editions of Gibson Custom Shop's 20th anniversary model in 2013, and was offered to Japanese key dealers for the Japanese market by Edwin Wilson & Tom Murphy, who were instrumental in launching the Historic Program, and they gladly accepted the offer.

The body is made of Genuine Mahogany for the back and hand-selected top-quality, highly figured maple with impressive, beautiful grain.
The neck is also made of one-piece "Genuine Mahogany" and is fitted with a top-quality rosewood fingerboard, making it a Les Paul with rare specifications.
The neck grip has a rounded shape with moderate thickness.
The specifications include a tubeless truss rod, which is similar to the later "True HIstoric" models, hide glue gluing at the neck joint, and an aniline-dye paint job for a real vintage-like appearance.
The basic top color is lemon burst, which reproduces the reddish color of cherry sunburst, and the green burst Murphy version has a hint of green due to the blue component left over from the red.
The "Murphy Burst," as the name implies, is the most distinctive feature of this model, and was created by master craftsman Tom Murphy, giving it an overwhelming sense of presence with a luxurious feel!
The light weight of 3.75kg is also attractive.
The VOS finish faithfully reproduces the atmospheric colors and dullness caused by the aging process, making it satisfying just to look at.

Two original "Custom Bucker" PUs are installed.
These pickups are upgraded versions of Gibson's traditional PAF pickups, the 57Classic - Burst Bucker.
The sound is excellent, not only in looks, but also in sound!

The condition of the pickups is very good, with some scratches and dents, as well as some dullness and scuff marks on the parts due to the VOS finish.
The condition of the instrument shows that it has been handled with care, although there are some parts where you can feel a sense of use.
The original Japan Limited certificate and hand selection card are also included.
