Main Features
Volume control: The saxophone's tone remains the same, but is quieter, with 15 volume control levels and a headphone connection, allowing you to enjoy playing without worrying about the volume.
The digital sound source system drives the speaker and transmits sound and vibration to a simple horn-type sound system.
Mouthpiece: The mouthpiece is removable for easy and convenient access. The mouthpiece can be removed for easy cleaning.
Breath sensor: By sensing the strength (pressure) of the breath with the breath sensor, it is possible to change the tone as well as the loudness of the sound.
Tones: 56 built-in tones for various genres and styles of soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones. In addition, a total of 73 other tones can be played, including electronic instruments, shakuhachi, and flute.
The key layout: Designed based on Yamaha acoustic saxophones for smooth operation. The fingering can also be changed using a dedicated app.
All notes sampled: All notes of the Yamaha acoustic saxophone were sampled one by one with a professional player. This allows you to enjoy natural and comfortable performance.
Aux in jack: The Aux in jack allows you to connect other devices such as smartphones. This allows for sessions with external sound sources* and ensemble-like performances.
Dedicated application YDS Controller: A dedicated application is provided to enhance the playability of the digital saxophone and further expand the range of sound creation, such as instrument settings and tone editing. The application allows users to easily make detailed settings that are not possible with the main unit while viewing the application screen.
