This time, Gibson Custom Shop /Murphy Lab 1968 Les Paul Custom "Ultra Light Aged" made in 2024 is in stock!

The body is made of 2-piece maple top and 1-piece mahogany back with the unique shape reproduced by the original scanning data.
The neck is a 1-piece mahogany neck with a 14 degree neck angle. Deep joint with square neck heel.
Fingerboard is made of beautiful ebony with 12" radius.
The neck grip is Authentic '68 Medium C-Shape with a good thickness and grip.
Pegs are equipped with Kluson 501-VX tuners, commonly known as "waffle back" tuners.
The knobs, pickup covers, and other parts are "True Historic" parts that are faithfully reproduced from the manufacturing process of the 50's era.
The long stud tailpiece and tubeless historic truss rod are also installed, and all gluing is done with nickel glue, reproducing the specifications of the era down to the smallest detail.

This model has been "Ultra Light Aged," the lightest of the four levels of aging.
At first glance, it looks similar to VOS, but if you look closely, you can see weather checks on it, which gives it a very atmospheric look.

Two original "68 Custom Humbucker" pickups are installed.
The tone of this guitar has a wide range and a deep bass tone.
Sprague capacitors have been installed to bring the tone closer to the original.

The condition of the instrument is difficult to determine due to the aged finish throughout, but there are no scratches or dents that may have been added later.
The condition of this guitar is good because it was made in 2024.
