The Historic Collection is a series of reissues of famous historical instruments produced by Gibson Custom Shop.
This time, Gibson Custom Shop/Historic Collection 1957 Les Paul Gold Top Reissue made in 2004 has arrived!

The body is made of mahogany back and maple top with Les Paul's royal specs.
The body is made of mahogany backed by a maple top, and the neck is made of mahogany with a high-quality rosewood fingerboard.
The neck has a thick C-shape, which is characteristic of the 57, and has a thick grip that is easy to grasp.

Original "Burst Bucker 1 & 2" pickups are installed.
The vintage tone with a good amount of deadness and edge when distorted is very appealing.

There are some paint cracks on the top of the body near the knob, joint, bridge, and tailpiece.
The bottom of the body top has some oxidized spots where the paint has melted.
There are also some dents on the neck and buckle marks on the body back.
There are some parts that show signs of age and use, but there are no problems with playability.
