USED GIBSON USA / Slim Harpo Lovell Signature ES-330 [03]

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 2021 Gibson USA /Slim Harpo Lovell Signature ES-330!

In 1961, Slim Harpo made a crossover hit on the R&B and popular music charts with "Rainin' In My Heart," a song that was difficult to categorize in its genre at the time, and this hit led to his appearance on the popular American music show "American Bandstand" that same year.
After that, he continued to produce many memorable blues songs and hits such as "Baby, Scratch My Back" and "Shake Your Hips".

This is a rare reissue of Slim Harpo "Lovell" ES-330, an ES-330 that was a favorite of Slim Harpo, who has been using Gibson guitars for many years.

The 3-ply maple/poplar/maple top, back, and side body with mahogany neck.
Fingerboard is made of rosewood with small block inlays.
The neck shape is a round C profile with a good thickness for an easy grip.
Other features include spruce bracing, a trapeze tailpiece, and white button vintage deluxe tuners. The back of the head is decorated with a custom "Lovell" logo in honor of Slim Harpo's beloved wife and manager, Verl Moore, with whom he composed many of his songs.

Two dock ear type P-90 pickups are installed.
The condenser is equipped with handling wiring controls with orange drop.
The lively and powerful sound is a characteristic of this guitar.

There are some minor scratches and scuffs as well as some light dents on the head.
Although there are some parts that show signs of use, the overall condition of the instrument remains clean.

This is one of the few Slim Harpo Lovell Signature ES-330s on the market!
