USED EMPRESS EFFECTS / Compressor MKII [03]

The Compressor, which enables a high level of compression that only Empress Effects can achieve, has been updated to the MKII. The sound inspired by the classic Urei 1176 compressor/limiter, a studio recording classic, has been retained, but now in a more compact size and with new features.

The MKII features LED meters for input and gain reduction levels, independent attack and release controls, parallel compression with a mix knob, external sidechain, and other controls that have only been found on high-end compressors for studio use, all in a pedal-sized package. The MKII also features a "Tilt" tone EQ control and an adjustable sidechain high-pass filter on the comp detection circuit.
