The Historic Collection is a reissue series of famous historical instruments produced by Gibson Custom Shop.
This time, Gbson Custom Shop /Historic Collection 1967 Flying V Reissue Faded Cherry made in 2011 is now in stock!

Mahogany body and neck with rosewood fingerboard.
The neck shape has a slightly thicker grip similar to a C-shape.
The Flying V was introduced in 1958 but was short-lived. It was re-produced in 1967 with a new look and vibrola tailpiece.
This model is a reproduction of the 1967 specs.
The arm has been removed and the screw holes have been filled in, and a GOTOH tailpiece has been retrofitted.

Original "Burst Bucker 2&3" pickups are installed.
The vintage tone with a good amount of deadness and distortion sound with a sense of edge is very attractive.
The volume pot has been replaced with a DIMARZIO volume pot, and the condenser has been replaced with an orange drop.

There are some dents, paint cracks, and scratches on the fretboard. There are also some dents on the fingerboard.
As mentioned above, the volume pot and condenser have been replaced, and the arm and pickup covers have been removed. (Only the arm is included).
Although the instrument is in good condition, there are no problems with the playing condition.

The faded cherry color gives the Flying V a more vintage-like appearance!
This is a very rare and valuable instrument, so please take this opportunity to consider it!
