USED SOLDANO / SLO Purple Anodized [03]

This purple version is reminiscent of the X99/X88R, the classic Soldano preamp that once graced the racks of LA session guitarists.

The "Super Lead Overdrive 100W Tube Amp Head / SLO-100" created by Mike Soldano in 1987 is still a favorite of many top guitarists as a representative high-gain amp nearly 40 years later. Not only HR/HM guitarists, its bluesy crunch channel has attracted guitarists such as Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, and Lou Reed.

Until now, it has been difficult to express the nuances of the Soldano amp in pedal form, but the SLO pedal reproduces the perfect balance of gain, sustain, and touch response that characterizes the SLO-100.
It features a cascading gain stage similar to that of the SLO-100, with the same gain, volume, presence, and 3-band EQ controls as the SLO-100.
The DEEP switch on the side emphasizes the low end, similar to the DEPTH knob on the SLO-100.
By making full use of these controls, guitarists can freely express the sound they are looking for, from a crunch sound with rich overtones to a heavy high-gain sound.
