LOUDNESS is one of the legendary bands in the Japanese metal scene.
This is the signature model of super guitarist Akira Takasaki, who can be called the face of LOUDNESS, and it is one of the rare specs that are now out of production.

The KG-PRIME is a very stylish looking guitar with a distinctive burnished ash wood grain, which is synonymous with the Killer KG-PRIME, and takes advantage of the potential of ash.

The neck material is the royal hard maple.
Unlike previous PRIME models, this model also uses rosewood for the fretboard material, which gives it a sticky sound with a center of gravity in the mid to low midrange.

The neck is a VU shape, familiar to fans of the PRIME series, which provides both a good fit when gripped in the low position and high playability in the high position.

The neck end extends beyond the front PU and produces rich sustain that is not possible with a normal bolt-on construction.

Controls include a single master volume (no coil tap) and a 3-way toggle PU selector.
The factory spec PU is a Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz (N)/TB-14 Custom 5 (B), but this model has been replaced with Akira Takasaki's signature PU, "THUNDER IN THE EAST".

This PU was sold in 2016 as a limited edition of 100 sets to commemorate the 35th anniversary of LOUDNESS' debut, and is now a rare model that has become hard to find.

Inspired by Mr. Takasaki's many famous plays on the famous album "THUNDER IN THE EAST," this model produces a loud, beautiful, and unique tone very close to that of the 80s, when LOUDNESS first emerged from the scene. This model is a modified model, but this is not the case.

Although it is a modified model, this is a very nice spec for LOUDNESS and Akira Takasaki fans.
