This model is a reproduction of the 1962 J-160E, which was produced in a limited edition of 500 in 2000.

Plywood spruce top and ladder bracing.
Among the various limited editions of John's beloved instruments, this is a reissue of the 1962 J-160E, which was the first one he ever owned (it was later stolen and lost).

The young Beatles were playing rock 'n' roll in front of him, and John was shouting with the J-160E in his hands.
This is an item that could be a time tunnel or a magic carpet.

On the other hand, in terms of practicality, it is hard to imagine that such a unique and original sound can be easily produced by any kind of simulation.
This is an essential "response" instrument for the expressive player.
