「ロック・ラップ・スティールの定番モデル！」
ジャクソン・ブラウン、ベン・ハーパーらの楽器を手掛けるカリフォルニアのビルダー、ビル・アッシャーのデザインによるラップ・スティール・ギター。モデルワイゼンボーンを思わせるボディ・シェイプがユニークです。エレクトロ・ハワイアン・ジュニアはアジア製の廉価モデルですが、コスト・パフォーマンスが良好でプロのミュージシャンも使用しています。
スルー・ネック構造で、ボディ、ネックにはソリッド・マホガニー、指板にはローズウッドが採用されています。ハムバッカーを2基搭載しており、野太くパワフルなサウンドが特徴。名称には「ハワイアン」が付きますが、オーバードライブさせたロック、ブルースの演奏にも向いた現代的なラップ・スティールです。ナット側の弦の感覚が広く、ハンマリング・オンやプリング・オフなどを駆使した演奏にもストレスを感じさせません。
当個体の年式は不明ですが、ブリッジのデザインから比較的初期の製品と思われます。僅かに打痕や軽度の引っ掻き傷、擦り傷、僅かな金属部品のくすみが確認できる程度で、目立つダメージはありません。
非純正のソフト・ケースが付属します。フィット感は悪く有りません。ジッパーが元々一つしか付かないタイプです。

Designed by California builder Bill Usher, who crafts instruments for Jackson Browne and Ben Harper, this lap steel guitar features a unique body shape reminiscent of the Model Weissenborn. The Electro Hawaiian Junior is an affordable Asian-made model offering excellent value for money, favored even by professional musicians.
Featuring a through-neck construction, the body and neck are solid mahogany, with a rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with two humbucker pickups, it delivers a thick, powerful sound.Despite the "Hawaiian" in its name, it's a modern lap steel well-suited for overdriven rock and blues playing. The wide string spacing at the nut allows for stress-free playing utilizing techniques like hammer-ons and pull-offs.
The exact year of this particular instrument is unknown, but the bridge design suggests it is a relatively early model. Minor dings, light scratches, scuffs, and slight tarnish on some metal parts are visible, but there is no significant damage.
It comes with a non-original soft case. The fit is not bad. It's the type that originally only had one zipper.
