This is the first-generation Yamaha YAS-62 alto saxophone.
Manufactured between 1978 and 1994, this was a Yamaha professional model of its time.
Compared to current models, it offers a natural and relatively light playing feel, and remains popular both domestically and internationally.
The dent in the bell flare has been repaired, leaving some faint traces of the repair work.
Otherwise, the instrument is in a practical condition showing significant signs of use, including scratches, lacquer peeling, discoloration, and rust throughout. However, all pads have been replaced with new ones and the instrument has been thoroughly adjusted, so you can enjoy playing it right away.
