USED Gibson USA / ES-335 Dot Reissue Figured Top Cherry [03]

A 2001 ES-335 Dot Reissue has arrived!
This is a reissue model of the ES-335 that featured dot inlays, as produced between 1958 and the first half of 1962. This instrument features a figured maple top with visible grain.

The body is made of laminated figured maple (maple/poplar/maple), with a mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard.
It is equipped with “57 Classic” pickups. The warm, expressive tone pairs perfectly with the airy sound characteristic of semi-hollow-body guitars.

There are signs of a previous neck break repair; however, the repair was performed by a workshop we work with, and we believe the guitar is currently in good working condition.

Overall, there are signs of wear, including scratches, dents, buckle marks, weather checking due to paint thinning, and tarnished hardware. Additionally, there are uneven areas resembling scuffs across the entire body’s finish.
The finish on the neck has also been touched up near the joint, so it has been restored to a clean condition.

Although it shows signs of the neck break repair and general wear, this instrument has been well-played and is undoubtedly ready to rock right out of the box!
