今回入荷したAMAZEはそんなESPの中でも定番中の定番と言って良いモデルでしょう。
その名の通りアッシュ×メイプル、メイプル指板というマテリアル。ボディは2PCアッシュ、指板は貼りメイプルを採用です。総重量3.95kgと2PCアッシュを採用しているとは思えない軽量さも魅力的ですね。
コントロールは1Volume,Selecter,Treble,Mid,Bassという構成。ボリュームポットのプッシュ/プルでアクティブ/パッシブの切り替えが可能です。
サウンドはアッシュ×メイプルらしいバキバキなものかと思いきや、意外にもブリっとしたTHE・ジャズベースと言ったサウンド。EQもかなりナチュラルなかかり方で汎用性は抜群です。
ピックガード交換、パーツくすみ、サビ、ボディ全体に打痕点在、バックパネル付近に塗装欠けが見られるなど使用感は見られますが、ネック、トラスロッドの動作は問題なし。まだまだ永くお使いいただける1本です。

ESP is a brand that has gained support from a wide range of customers, from professional use to entry-level models, and is often heard in various situations as an instrument enthusiast, not only in the production of electric basses and guitars, but also in the operation of repair stores and professional schools.
The AMAZE model we have in stock this time is one of ESP's most standard models.
As the name suggests, it is made of ash and maple with a maple fretboard. The body is made of 2PC ash and the fingerboard is made of pasted maple. The total weight of 3.95kg is very light, which you would not think that 2PC ash is used.
Controls consist of 1Volume, Selecter, Treble, Mid, and Bass. The volume pot can be switched between active and passive by pushing/pulling.
The EQ is also very natural and versatile.
The pickguard has been replaced, parts are dull and rusty, there are dings and dents all over the body, and the paint is chipped near the back panel, but the neck and truss rod work fine. The neck and truss rod are in good working order.
This is a high quality instrument that can be used in a wide range of genres! Please buy it!
