This is the Yamaha YAS-82ZUL alto saxophone.
It has a spacious tone typical of an unlacquered instrument, with harmonics that seem to be emphasized—exactly what you’d want for a jazz sound.
The response is natural, allowing the characteristics of the mouthpiece to shine through.
Due to the unlacquered finish, there is some overall discoloration, but there is no major damage, and I believe the instrument is in good condition.
All pads have been replaced with new ones, and the instrument has been thoroughly adjusted, so you can enjoy playing it right away.
