Fender Japan’s classic JB62 model has arrived!

This instrument is modeled after the 1962 Jazz Bass, featuring a slab-style rosewood fingerboard and a ground wire beneath the rear pickup. The "JB62" is renowned as one of the most popular Japanese-made Fender models, alongside Fender Japan’s "JB75."

Based on the serial number, this appears to have been manufactured around 1993–1994. It is the JB62-80, a mid-range model from that era equipped with spiral saddles.

It’s a captivating instrument with a warm, slightly earthy midrange tone.

The metal parts show some tarnish.
Additionally, there are scratches visible throughout the body and headstock.
