USED MORRIS / W-60 [03]

We have received a used MORRIS / W-60. Manufactured in Japan during the 1970s and 1980s, this vintage model boasts the solid construction and rich tone characteristic of high-end instruments of that era.
You can also appreciate the rich tone developed through years of playing, offering a character that current models simply cannot match.

The main specifications are believed to include a solid spruce top, rosewood sides and back, a mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.

As for its condition, it shows signs of aging and wear appropriate for its age, such as dents, scratches, and tarnish or rust on metal parts; however, it is in a condition that allows you to appreciate its vintage character.
There is some damage to the fingerboard binding, and the area near the low frets on the first string side of the neck has discolored to a white hue. There is a slight bulge under the bridge on the top, and the bridge is slightly loose.

The neck is nearly straight with no neck lift, and the current playability is good.
The nut has been modified in the past, but this does not affect its current playability.
Approximately 50% of the frets remain, and the string action at the 12th fret is about 2.4 mm on the 6th string side and about 2.0 mm on the 1st string side, making for an easy-to-play setup.
It is equipped with a Morris / CP-2 pickup, though the output is somewhat subdued.

Our repair department has already repaired a crack in the waist, a crack at the neck-to-fingerboard joint, and applied celluloid reinforcement.

A non-original gig case is included.
