USED MARTIN / MC-68AJ [03]

We have received a used Martin MC-68.
The MC-68 is an acoustic guitar manufactured by C.F. Martin from around 1985 to 1995, and this particular instrument was made in 1994.
It features a spruce top and maple sides and back, with an ebony fingerboard.
It features a slightly larger M-size body than the OM, with a cutaway, producing a well-balanced sound.
It has a fast attack, a clear and articulate tone, tight bass, and distinct mid-to-high frequencies.

There is some bulging around the bridge and a kink in the neck joint, and the string height at the 12th fret on the 6th string is approximately 3.5 mm, which is on the high side.

There are weather checking, dents, and pick scratches throughout the body.
A strap pin is attached to the neck heel.
A large area on the side of the body has been repaired for a crack, and the bridge has been reattached.
Due to shrinkage of the binding on the side of the fingerboard, there is a gap near the nut, and there is a crack in the binding at the 12th fret position mark.
There are signs that the pickups have been removed, and the endpin has been replaced.
The body binding has been re-glued.
The bridge has been shaved down slightly, and the saddle has been filed low.
The truss rod is fully tightened, and the neck has a positive bow.
