A 1969 Fender Jaguar has just arrived!

It features the custom "Candy Apple Red" finish, which has faded over time,
giving it a distinctive, vintage-inspired look.

The body is made of alder, and it features a maple neck with binding. It’s a 1969 model marked “Date: 15MAY69B,” a B-neck, and a rosewood fingerboard with block inlays.
The neck offers just the right amount of grip and feels very comfortable to play.

The pickups are dated 1299 and feature two original 1969 gray-bobbin pickups.
There are signs of an expanded cutout for the bridge pickup and extended wiring, indicating that a different pickup

Additionally, the front pickup cover is cracked, and extra foam has been added beneath the pickup.

The sound delivers a rich, full-bodied tone with a distinct edge—
that is unique to vintage instruments.

The pot dates are 304-6545 (Vol) and 304-6545 (Tone), both manufactured in 1965; since they are from a different model year, we have determined they need to be replaced.
The tone pot in the preset section has also been replaced.

The sponge in the Fender Mute section, the frets, nut, and saddle have been replaced; the strap pin holes have been re-drilled; and

Overall, while there are signs of wear—such as scratches and peeling paint—as well as replaced parts, this is a fine instrument with a great vintage vibe.
Playability is also excellent, thanks to the replacement of the frets and nut.
