USED GIBSON / 1950s LG-2 Vintage Sunburst [03]

We have received a used 2023 USA-made Gibson 50s Original LG-2.

With a 24.75" / 628.65mm scale length, this guitar features a compact body yet produces a powerful tone that rivals that of a full-size model.
It features a distinctive, rounded, thick neck shape. The saddle and nut are made of cowbone. The bridge pins have been replaced with black plastic ones.
It is equipped with a piezo pickup, specifically an L.R. Baggs model.
The body is all-solid, with a Sitka spruce top and mahogany sides and back.
It features a nitrocellulose lacquer finish and the familiar glue-in dovetail neck joint. The fingerboard features sparkling mother-of-pearl dot inlays.

While there are signs of use and minor scratches typical of a pre-owned instrument, it is generally in good condition. Playability is excellent, with a proper string action of approximately 2.5mm at the 12th fret on the 6th string.
The saddle height is sufficient, and the pickups are functioning normally.
Both playability and sound are excellent.
It comes with a non-original, aftermarket hard case.
