We’ve just received a used Freedom Left-Handed JB—a flagship model from Japan’s leading high-end guitar maker!

Freedom Custom Guitar Research is based in Tokyo’s Shitamachi district.
Many of the artisans involved in each stage of production have spent years in the instrument-making industry, so it’s no exaggeration to call them Japan’s premier group of craftsmen.

This particular guitar we’ve just received is a left-handed version of the classic ’60s JB style.
While it boasts a traditional look, it’s also dotted with modern features such as a 21-fret fingerboard with an extended nut and a cavity treated with conductive material.

It produces a very appealing sound, characterized by a low center of gravity and a dense, full-bodied midrange.

The neck is currently in good condition, but the truss rod has about a quarter turn left to tighten.
Overall, there are signs of use, including scratches, dents, peeling paint, and dents, as well as tarnish on the metal parts.
Additionally, there are screw holes on the body and pickguard for mounting a pickup fence, but the fence itself is not included.
