USED GIBSON / J-200 AN [03]

We have received a used Gibson J-200. The J-200, which features the largest body size in the Gibson Acoustic line, is known for its well-defined tone and powerful sound.
Based on the serial number, it appears to have been manufactured in 1993 in Bozeman, Montana, USA.
The top is made of Sitka spruce, while the back and sides feature maple with a stunning grain pattern. The wood’s appearance changes depending on the angle of the light.
It is characterized by clear, bright nuances combined with a thick, well-defined bass response. Its warm tone, even within a dry sound, is truly worthy of the title “The King of Flat-Tops.”

The endpin has been converted to an output jack, but the pickup has been removed. There are traces of the pickup’s former installation, such as holes in the bridge plate.
There are traces of adhesive used to fill a gap on the back of the neck-heel joint. Strap pins have been installed.
The string action has been adjusted, and the nut has been replaced. The nut is made of TUSQ. Some parts of the pattern on the surface of the pickguard are starting to fade.
Upon close inspection, the neck shows slight waviness. The string action is approximately 2.4 mm at the 12th fret on the 6th string and approximately 2.1 mm at the 12th fret on the 1st string, making it very playable.
There is weather checking throughout, and while it shows signs of use such as scratches and dents, its playability and sound are outstanding. The bridge pins have been replaced with wooden ones.
A non-original hard case is included.
