A 2011 Time Machine Series 1952 Telecaster (NOS) has arrived!
Featuring a lightweight ash body and a maple neck—the quintessential wood combination. The NOS finish has a wonderful patina, and the single-ply black pickguard—which has become synonymous with this model—gives it a striking presence.

While it was originally wired with the vintage 1951 wiring (Nocaster wiring), this particular guitar has been modified to standard modern Telecaster wiring (front/mix/rear, standard tone control). Although there are signs that the pickups were once removed (solder repairs), based on the resistance values and wire colors, it appears to be equipped with the original “Custom Shop ’51 Nocaster Single-Coil” pickups.

Combined with the ash body, this guitar delivers a quick attack, offering an appealing range of tones—from a thick, punchy, twangy sound in the bridge position to a sweet, crystal-clear tone in the neck position. The mix position truly stands out.

Overall, there are signs of wear from playing, including scratches and dents, scuff marks on the elbow area, and pick marks on the pickguard. Additionally, there are scattered traces of touch-up paint over what appear to be sun-faded areas on the top and back of the body, but there is no significant damage that stands out.

The neck is in good condition; while there is some wear on the frets, they still have sufficient height for comfortable playing.
Although the wiring has been modified, it has been updated to a more practical and functional configuration, making this a guitar that is still very much ready for use.
