We’ve received a used JB-type guitar from a long-established Japanese brand!

Moon Custom Guitars has firmly established itself as a leading Japanese component brand.
This latest arrival is the “JB-5 Classic,” a 5-string model that stays true to the traditional style.

While the alder body and rosewood fingerboard give it a ’60s vibe, it also incorporates modern elements such as a 21-fret design with protruding frets and a smoothly contoured heel.
Furthermore, the fingerboard is made of Honduran rosewood—selected from among the many types of rosewood for its tight, full-bodied tone.

The sound is exceptionally well-balanced, giving the impression of a solid, authentic bass tone.

The neck condition and truss rod action are currently in good shape.
Overall, there are few signs of use, and no noticeable scratches or dents are visible.
